Hi, GPL v3? The library is licensed under the LGPL v3 or later. This is clearly stated in the The only parts licensed under the GPL are the testing tools ( The source code of these small programs is not used to build the Z80 library, so the library itself remains LGPL-licensed. That said, as you mentioned, the LGPL, like the GPL, does require modified versions of the library itself to be made available under the applicable license terms. However, this obligation applies to modifications to the library, not generally to the source code of a separate program that uses it, provided the LGPL's conditions are met. Could you please let me know which program is using a modified version of the library without making the modifications available? And, if you don't mind me asking, how did you come across this?
