Adds context parallelism (CP) to Hugging Face QAT and QAD in examples/llm_qat, using accelerate's built-in CP (ParallelismConfig(cp_size=...), torch ring attention inside SDPA). It lets one sequence be split across GPUs, which long-context QAD of large MoE models needs.
Bug fix: KDTrainer and the Liger loss under CP. Under CP, the Trainer splits each sequence across ranks and adds shift_labels, shifted before the split so each shard keeps the right next-token labels. ModelOpt's trainers did not handle that:
KDTrainer passed shift_labels into the student and teacher forwards. With Liger on, the Liger forward then skips its logits, and training crashed with 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'to'.
The KD losses (_standard_kd_loss, _liger_kd_loss) shifted labels again on each shard. That drops the last position of every shard and misaligns labels across the split.
ModelOptHFTrainer.compute_loss (QAT, and eval) had the same Liger crash.
Now the trainers drop shift_labels from the model inputs and pass them to the KD and Liger CE losses, which then skip their own shift.
Guards. CP only splits the sequence inside SDPA, so anything that attends another way would silently see only its own shard:
KDTrainer refuses a teacher whose attention is not SDPA (the Trainer checks only the student).
QATTrainer refuses enabled softmax (p_bmm) quantizers, which run ModelOpt's own attention kernel.
examples/llm_qat/train.py --cp_size N checks for the FSDP2 accelerate config, --attn_implementation sdpa, --model_max_length a multiple of 2 * N, and a GPU count that is a multiple of N.
Supported models: every layer full causal attention (Llama, Qwen3, Qwen3-MoE; DeepSeek-V3-style MLA through SDPA). accelerate rejects sliding-window, linear-attention (GDN/KDA) and sparse (DSA) layers.
tests/unit/torch/distill/plugins/test_huggingface_kd.py::test_context_parallel_shards_add_up_to_the_full_kd_loss: the KD losses of two CP shards, each normalized by the global token count, add up to the loss of the full sequence. Fails on main (TypeError on shift_labels).
tests/examples/llm_qat/test_llm_qat.py::test_qwen3_nvfp4_context_parallel[False/True]: 2-GPU NVFP4 QAT and QAD with --cp_size 2, Liger and eval on.
What I ran on 8x B200 (NeMo 26.08 container, transformers 5.18, liger-kernel installed):
tests/unit/torch/distill and tests/unit/torch/opt/plugins: 88 passed. 9 failed the same way on main: they import Megatron, and the container's /opt/Megatron-Bridge is not readable (PermissionError).
tests/examples/llm_qat/test_llm_qat.py -k "qad_nvfp4 or context_parallel": 3 passed (the existing FSDP2 QAD test and the two new ones).
Same data and weights, Qwen3-30B-A3B (4 layers), Liger on, dp=4: cp=1 on 4 GPUs vs cp=2 on 8 GPUs. At step 1 (identical weights) the loss is 0.056213 vs 0.056244 and the grad norm 1.013438 vs 1.013444, so the losses under CP average correctly.
Speed, full Qwen3-30B-A3B QAD, 16K tokens per GPU, FSDP2 + activation checkpointing, Liger: cp=1 2.39 s/step, cp=2 (32K-token sequences) 2.66 s/step, about 11% more per token, with the same 72.9 GiB peak.
Not run: more than 8 GPUs, a model with MLA, and a full training run for accuracy.

Added context parallelism for QAT and QAD training, with support for knowledge distillation. Set --cp_size to split sequences across GPUs.
Documentation
Added setup guidance and compatibility requirements, including FSDP2, SDPA attention, suitable model attention layers, and sequence length and GPU-count constraints.
Bug Fixes
Updated distillation and quantized training loss handling for context-parallel sequence shards. Certain quantizer configurations are rejected when incompatible with context parallelism.
examples/llm_qat gets --cp_size, which turns on accelerate's context
parallelism (FSDP2, SDPA attention).
Under context parallelism the Trainer adds shift_labels, shifted before the
sequence is split across ranks. KDTrainer and the Liger loss in
ModelOptHFTrainer passed them to the model, which crashed with Liger, and the
KD losses shifted the labels again on each shard. They now keep shift_labels
out of the model inputs and score every position of the shard against them.
KDTrainer refuses a teacher that does not use SDPA, and QATTrainer refuses
enabled p_bmm quantizers, since either would attend only within its own shard.

TrainingArguments adds cp_size, defaulting to 1. When it exceeds 1, training checks the FSDP2 configuration, SDPA attention, model-length divisibility by 2 * cp_size, and GPU-count divisibility by cp_size, then sets the Accelerate parallelism configuration. The docs describe model and quantization constraints and provide a launch example.

KD and Liger loss paths accept shift_labels and use them across sequence positions. Without shifted labels, the existing causal shifting behavior remains. A unit test checks that shard losses sum to the full loss.
QAT compatibility checks and example tests modelopt/torch/quantization/plugins/transformers_trainer.py, tests/examples/llm_qat/test_llm_qat.py
QATTrainer checks once for enabled p_bmm_quantizer modules when context parallelism is active and raises a ValueError if it finds any. Example tests run context-parallel QAT and QAD variants.

Make context-parallel evaluation version-aware.
With Transformers 5.5.0 and 5.15.0, Trainer.training_step prepares context-parallel inputs, but Trainer.prediction_step does not. evaluation_loop calls prediction_step, and QATTrainer delegates to it. The llm_qat example provides an evaluation dataset and enables do_eval, eval_on_start, and scheduled evaluation. With cp_size > 1, evaluation can therefore send the full sequence to every rank and may run out of memory.
Transformers 5.18.0 already prepares inputs on its labeled-loss path. Do not add an unconditional wrapper that could prepare inputs twice. Require a context-parallel-aware Transformers version, add a capability-aware evaluation path, or reject evaluation for unsupported versions.

### What does this PR do?
Type of change: bug fix (performance)
`QATTrainer` (and so `QADTrainer`) runs `gc.collect()` before every
training step, and `--manual_gc` runs another one. Each full collection
walks every object the cycle collector tracks. On Qwen3-30B-A3B QAD that
is about 1.9 M objects, mostly the student, the teacher, their
quantizers and the optimizer state. That takes about 0.5 s per
collection, twice per step: **1.1 s of every 3.6 s step** went to
collections that free a few hundred objects.
Now, from the second training step on, after the first collection the
trainer calls `gc.freeze()` once. Objects that live through training
move to the permanent generation, so later collections skip them. They
still free per-step garbage, which is what the per-step collection is
there for. `train()` calls `gc.unfreeze()` when it returns, so the model
and the trainer can be freed afterwards.
Python 3.12 starts with a few hundred frozen objects (`python -I -S -c
"import gc; print(gc.get_freeze_count())"` prints 375), so the trainer
tracks its own freeze instead of checking `gc.get_freeze_count()`.
### Usage
No new API. QAT and QAD with `QATTrainer`, `QADTrainer`, or
`manual_gc=True` get it automatically.
### Testing
New test:
`tests/unit/torch/opt/plugins/test_trainer_gc.py::test_model_is_freed_after_train_with_manual_gc`
trains a tiny CPU model held in a reference cycle for 3 steps, then
checks it is freed after `train()` returns (1 s). Without the
`gc.unfreeze()` in `train()`, it fails.

A 120-step run with this PR stays at 2.39 s/step, with allocated memory
flat at 49.9 GiB and peak at 72.9 GiB from step 4 to step 120. Losses
