Oblivious Compute reduces the machinery required for distributed computation by removing history and global coordination. Each observer maintains only its own state and reacts locally to projections through an oblivious medium. No observer contains the field, and no middleware constructs it. The field is not produced by the machine. The field is the machine.

Check out the Examination section for a formal comparison.
