For OpenHCS K6, which turns its progress phase and status enums into registered class families.

  • TaskProgress.phase/status are typed object: an application event narrows them (OpenHCS: type[ProgressPhase], type[ProgressStatus]) and the runtime reads the spelling to_jsonable gives them on the wire.
  • Deleted: the str-or-Enum check in __post_init__, and the unused TaskPhase/TaskStatus enums (no reader in zmqruntime, OpenHCS, PolyStore or pyqt-reactive).
  • Version 0.6.1; new test test_task_progress_carries_the_application_phase_vocabulary; tests/test_messages.py and tests/test_execution.py pass locally (85 passed).

….6.1

Phase and status are typed object: an application event narrows them (for
example to a registered class family) and the runtime reads the spelling
to_jsonable gives them on the wire. The str-or-Enum check and the unused
TaskPhase and TaskStatus enums are deleted.
