Caller update for ObjectState 3.0.0 (OpenHCSDev/ObjectState#50). Not tagged or released.

Sites changed (3, per the 3.0.0 caller ledger)

  • strategies/preview_formatting.py:28, :31: imported and walked GROUP_ABBREVIATIONS_REGISTRY, which ObjectState 3 removes (ImportError on first call). The module's own lookup is deleted; FormattingConfig.container_abbr_func defaults to objectstate.lazy_factory.get_group_abbreviation, the one owner of the lazy-to-base step, the MRO walk and the class-name fallback. The name formbridge.strategies.preview_formatting.get_group_abbreviation still resolves (it is ObjectState's function), so no public name is removed.
  • pyproject.toml: objectstate>=3.0,<4.

Version 0.1.2 (src/formbridge/__init__.py), changelog entry added.

CI install

requirements-ci.txt (new, same convention as pyqt-reactive) constrains objectstate to the release branch head abe763c until 3.0.0 is on PyPI; ci.yml installs with --constraint requirements-ci.txt. Empty that file once ObjectState 3.0.0 is published.

Checks run locally (CPython 3.12, against ObjectState abe763c)

  • pytest tests -n 2: 107 passed (one new test: the heading default is ObjectState's function and answers for a declared class, a subclass and its lazy class).
  • ruff check src tests: clean.

Release order

ObjectState 3.0.0, then formbridge 0.1.2, then pyqt-reactive, then OpenHCS.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

ObjectState 3.0.0 removes GROUP_ABBREVIATIONS_REGISTRY. The list-preview
heading default is now objectstate.lazy_factory.get_group_abbreviation
itself; the module's hand-written registry walk is deleted.

CI installs ObjectState at its 3.0.0 release branch head through
requirements-ci.txt until 3.0.0 is on PyPI.
