DINO-1038: disable Dependabot bun for .github/scripts (dependabot-core#15237) - #1041
Comments out the bun/.github/scripts entry in .github/dependabot.yml, with a note: cannot enable until https://github.com/dependabot/dependabot-core/issues/15237 is fixed.
Dependabot refuses to open PRs that change files under .github/ for any ecosystem except github-actions. Every bun /.github/scripts job resolves its updates, then create_pull_request returns 400 "The request contains invalid or unauthorized changes" (reported as dependency_file_not_supported). No bun PR has ever been created in this org, before or after grouping.
Because that job was in the cicd multi-ecosystem group, its failure most likely kept the deps(ci): PR from ever opening, so GitHub Actions updates were stuck too. With it removed, cicd contains only github-actions. Dependencies in .github/scripts stay manual bumps until upstream is fixed.
Testing
Config validated against the SchemaStore dependabot-2.0 schema (plus group-name length and usage checks). Dependabot only validates on the default branch: after merge, check the .github/dependabot.yml check run on main and that a deps(ci): PR opens on the next run.
