There are already a lot of great add-ons available for Create TanStack App, and I’d love to see first-class support for ElysiaJS and Eden Treaty added as well. 🩵
ElysiaJS is a fast, TypeScript-first web framework that pairs especially well with the TanStack ecosystem. Eden Treaty provides end-to-end type safety and autocomplete when consuming an Elysia server, making the combination a great fit for full-stack TanStack applications.
An add-on could provide a ready-to-use ElysiaJS backend alongside the TanStack Start frontend, with Eden Treaty configured for type-safe API communication out of the box.
Additional context
Eden Treaty is the recommended client for Elysia's type-safe API experience and provides typed API access directly from the Elysia server definition.
React support is now on main in #573. Keeping this open until the normal package release.
AI review notes:
The add-on runs an Elysia API inside Start server routes and uses Eden Treaty for typed same-origin requests. Standard projects include a greeting demo; blank projects retain the API without demo pages. It supports creation and adding to an existing generated React app.
Normal builds, lint, 569 unit tests and 22 browser cases passed, along with all seven hosted checks. The generated production preview was checked in light and dark themes, and the production dependency audit has zero advisories. This is merged source, not a claim that the published CLI already has the add-on. No Bun runtime or deployment-provider verification is claimed.
