Add Oxfmt as a standalone formatter for React and Solid apps, including tanstack add oxfmt. This covers the formatter portion of #510; broader preset selection stays open.
When adding an integration replaces existing package scripts, show the script names and old/new commands before writing. Cancellation preserves the files, and force mode still skips confirmation while reporting the replacements.
AI review notes:
Oxfmt 0.77.0 uses a JSON config and format/check scripts, with generated files and build outputs excluded. It adds no linter. The README documents the formatter’s Node requirement, 20.19 on the Node 20 line or 22.12 and newer. The CLI runtime floor and default toolchain are unchanged.
Normal Husky checks passed: 10 builds, lint, 573 unit tests and all 28 blocking end-to-end cases. Six formatter cases cover React/Solid standard, blank and existing apps, Vite/Rsbuild and npm/pnpm/Bun. They include dirty-file rejection and repair. The four replacement-warning tests cover cancellation, approved replacement, unrelated scripts and force mode, with two negative controls failing on the prior code. The actual terminal warning renderer was inspected with a cancelled disposable manifest.
Additional Bun create/build/type/format checks passed. The generated npm app’s full dependency audit, including dev dependencies, found zero advisories. The complete source diff, formatter tarball integrity, dependency hooks and JS entry were reviewed. Isolated validation had no deployment-provider side effects.
The first Linux run found no Bun executable, so the PR and release blocking jobs now install Bun 1.3.14 from one .bun-version file using a pinned official action. The setup has no action token or cache. Local offline workflow security scan had no findings. Updated hosted checks and TanStack Core workflow review remain required.
Built JS artifacts versus main efb68bd: CLI unchanged; create +15,570 raw / +4,044 gzip bytes across two additional files. No startup or memory benchmark was performed.
Format-then-check matches the existing standalone Prettier workflow. Fresh generated source is not promised to be formatter-clean; the tests prove check rejects a known dirty file and passes after format repairs it.
Summary by CodeRabbit
New Features
Added Oxfmt as a standalone formatter option for React and Solid projects, with formatting and check commands and default formatting rules.
When adding integrations to an existing project, package script replacements are now shown before confirmation, including the current and proposed commands.
Documentation
Documented Oxfmt usage and minimum supported Node.js versions.
Tests
Added end-to-end coverage for Oxfmt setup across project types and creation modes, plus checks for package script replacement behavior.
This change adds standalone Oxfmt toolchains for React and Solid projects. It also adds package-script replacement warnings when integrating tools into existing projects, with tests for both behaviors.
React and Solid toolchains add Oxfmt metadata, format and check scripts, a development dependency, formatter configuration, and documentation. End-to-end tests cover standard, blank, and existing-app modes. The workflows set up Bun for end-to-end tests, using the version in .bun-version.
writeFiles warns when an existing package script has a different command from the generated script. Tests cover approval, cancellation, unchanged commands, new scripts, and force mode.
TanStack/cli issue 510 requests formatter and linter add-ons, including standalone Oxfmt. This change adds standalone Oxfmt support for React and Solid; preset selection remains open.

Explanation
The title "feat(create): add standalone Oxfmt toolchains" matches the main change. The PR adds Oxfmt as a standalone formatter toolchain for React and Solid in the create package, with format and check scripts, a config file, and README and metadata. The title is short, specific, and follows the conventional commit style. It does not mention the script-replacement disclosure in add-to-app.ts, which is a secondary change. That is acceptable because the title does not need to cover every detail.

Run check before format to cover the generated output.
The first format at line 43 can rewrite generated files before any assertion sees them. A template that does not match Oxfmt output passes the test after this rewrite, so the suite does not show whether a fresh project passes check.
Add a check call before line 43 to assert the untouched generated project. Keep the existing format and check sequence after the mutation step.

Name the replaced check and format scripts before adding Oxfmt.
On an existing React or Solid app, tanstack add oxfmt merges the Oxfmt manifest into package.json. For keys that already exist, the overlay value wins. The check and format scripts are replaced with oxfmt --check and oxfmt. If the existing check script also ran type checks, tests, or other steps, those steps stop running locally and in CI.
The confirmation lists only package.json. It does not name the script keys that change. The --forced flag skips this confirmation, so the replacement happens without a prompt.
Biome and Prettier toolchains use the same keys and merge path. This change extends that behavior to Oxfmt. Both framework manifests are identical, so one correction in the shared add path covers React and Solid. Changing the manifests alone does not change the result.
Decide whether conflicting script keys should be kept or replaced. Then list each affected key and its current value in the confirmation before writing.

Update the shared add confirmation path, not the React and Solid manifests:
before writing the Oxfmt overlay, identify each existing script key it will
replace, including check and format, and show that key with its current value in
the confirmation. Preserve the existing behavior for non-conflicting keys and
establish whether conflicting scripts are retained or replaced; ensure the
confirmation accurately describes the chosen behavior.

41-41: Trivial · Maintainability & Code Quality · Low value
Share the Bun version between the PR and release workflows.
release.yml:41 and pr.yml:63 each hard-code 1.3.14. The values match now, but no shared value links them. A future version bump in one file can leave the PR gate and the release gate on different Bun versions.
A workflow-level env block cannot cover both files. Store the version in one repository file instead, such as .bun-version. Each workflow can then read that file through the bun-version-file input of oven-sh/setup-bun.

The add-on warning now shows exactly which existing scripts will change, and both test workflows read the same Bun version file.
AI review notes:
The shared write path reports each changed script with its existing and replacement commands before confirmation. Approval retains the existing merge behavior; cancellation leaves the manifest untouched. Force mode still avoids a prompt and now reports the script replacements. Unchanged commands and new keys are omitted from that warning.
Four real-file regression cases cover those behaviors. Two fail on the prior implementation. The actual terminal renderer was also checked using a cancelled disposable manifest.
The initial format/check suggestion would impose a fresh-output contract that the existing standalone Prettier workflow does not require. The current test intentionally formats first, then proves check rejects a known dirty file and format repairs it. No generated source was excluded to hide differences.
