Frontier's design references currently give competing directions for space survival, civilization and planetary expansion. Establish HELLION as the primary gameplay and mechanics baseline: aim for as faithful an independently implemented remake as practical, then layer mechanics from other games on top.
Add a design baseline and align the project overview, survival contract, research priorities, first-playable handoff and later civilization/planet references. The existing extraction prototype remains a bounded, historically accepted foundation; no HELLION feature parity is claimed. Civ13 remains the primary reference for the later planet-start extension. Record the reviewed public Steam description in the existing provenance manifest.
The baseline requires independently authored implementation and original or rights-cleared assets, and makes no claim of HELLION/Zero Gravity affiliation or permission to reuse proprietary material. Detailed behavior and game versions still require research and separate acceptance evidence. The existing hold on disclosure of additional private research, logs and credentials remains in force.
