Software Engineer · CEO and co-founder of Foundational Technologies LLC
I build the software a business actually runs on: custom web apps, internal tools, and product work that continues after the first release. I also help teams settle the architecture before they build the wrong thing.

Foundational Technologies LLC is a veteran-owned studio in Appleton, Wisconsin. Fifteen years of building for the web.
An ERP toolbox for owners who run jobs, crews, and the books. Sales, schedules, field work, purchasing, invoicing, and payments stay on one job record, from the first opportunity through cash. Quotes, schedules, and invoices share that record, so the margin stays visible from the bid to the payment.
The accountant stays in QuickBooks Online. FullVue pushes invoices, credit memos, bills, and payments one way into QuickBooks. Jobs, purchase orders, and inventory stay where the work happens. Ask FullVue answers questions about that live data for the people allowed to see it, and it leaves the invoices and the books alone.
One platform for community theater. It connects theaters, performers, and audiences around tickets, auditions, volunteering, and show management. A theater keeps productions, schedules, cast, and crew together, and publishes a page patrons can find. Nearby shows and open auditions appear on a map.
Theaters sell tickets through Square, take audition sign-ups, and manage volunteer crews and rentals, with roles for the board, staff, and cast. Performers use one account across theaters and keep a résumé of their credits. Patrons find shows, tickets, and auditions for the theaters near them.
Raspberry Pi projects in Python, including a presence-sensing interactive screen for a museum and a live streaming monitor and recording system for a local community theater. I have also built servers from the hardware up, including the software on them.
Inventory control, media players, learning management, childcare management, email marketing, ecommerce, production tracking, kiosks, support desks, museum exhibits, sheet music, church and missions tools, show lighting, art project planning, and marketing sites. Client names stay off the public list until I have permission to use them.

I learned to follow, then to lead a small team, then to lead teams. I understand the work from the floor, from sales, and from managing people and information.
Theater — set design, set building, and directing — taught me to see the work from several seats at once. Enterprise software asks for the same thing: operators, customers, and the people who maintain it do not share one view.
