Summary

Upgrades the vendored PLAXIS scripting files to plxscripting 1.0.10, which works with PLAXIS 2D/3D 2025.1. It also moves dependency management from pip-tools to uv.

Changes

Core library: plxscripting 1.0.10

• Replaced src/plxscripting/ and src/encryption.py with the files shipped in the PLAXIS 2025.1 installation.
• Notable upstream changes:
  • distutils.StrictVersion is no longer used, because distutils was removed in Python 3.12.
  • Supports Jupyter Notebook 7 (notebook.app) as well as older versions (notebook.notebookapp).
  • Generated passwords now use secrets instead of random.
  • Processes that have already terminated are handled when looking up running PLAXIS instances.
  • New plx_type property on proxy objects.
  • New template_notebooks/ folder (2D/3D input, output and soiltest templates).
  • Code formatting/cleanup (quotes, line lengths).
• __version__.py now reads its version from VERSION and adds an optional BUILD_TAG suffix.

Packaging

• pyproject.toml: version 1.0.4 → 1.0.10; requires-python >=3.9 → >=3.12.

Tooling: pip-tools → uv

• Removed requirements.txt, which was generated by pip-compile.
• Added uv.lock, resolved against the public PyPI index.

CI

• Test matrix: Python 3.9–3.11 → 3.12–3.14.
• Release workflow: Python 3.11 → 3.12.

Docs

• README: added the uv dev workflow (uv sync --extra test, uv run pytest, uv lock --upgrade), the Python ≥3.12 requirement, and the compatibility table entry 1.0.10 → PLAXIS 2D/3D 2025.1.

⚠️ Breaking

• Python < 3.12 is no longer supported.
