F4 of the 1.0 freeze, decided: the 0.5 stream format stays in 1.0 as the one documented exception, and goes in 2.0.
The plan was to drop it if the legacy counter on the docs site was near zero. It wasn't, but mostly because our own site loaded widget 0.4 until #459. We can't see other sites, and the format costs little to keep:
toLegacyStreamand one branch in the handler. Removing it would break every page with an old widget cached or pinned on a CDN.legacy_stream_formatstartup note,setup.mdxand the 0.5 upgrade guide now say through 1.x, not until 1.0.regenerate: true, which those widgets send.@chatcops/server, since the logged message changed.Tested: server tests, docs:check and lint pass.
