Summary

Release 1.15.0: the customer fix plus the Snyk fix, built from master. The branch-environments feature (1.16.0) that is currently on development is intentionally not included.

  • Customer fix (DX-29683): opt-in Contentstack.Builder.setSerializeNulls(boolean) so null values (for example a Number field on a localized entry) are sent to the API instead of being dropped. Cherry-picked unchanged from development (f483430), including its unit tests, the pom.xml bump to 1.15.0 and the 1.15.0 changelog entry.
  • Snyk fix (DX-22133, DX-22134): hardcoded username and API-key fallbacks in LoginDetailTest and TestClient replaced with generated values. Test-only, no change to the published artifact (cherry-picked from Fix: replace hardcoded credentials in tests (Snyk) #274).
  • Changelog: 1.15.0 dated Nov 02, 2026, with one line noting the Snyk test fixes.

Not included

development also has the branch-create environments feature and the 1.16.0 bump (#275 to #277). Release PR #273 (development -> master) would ship them, so it should not be merged as it stands.

Verification

  • snyk code test: 0 findings. snyk test: 0 vulnerabilities.
  • The customer fix's serializeNulls unit tests pass.
  • Full suite: 223 run, 50 errors, the same as the earlier baseline. They all trace to Dotenv.load() failing because the local checkout has no .env, plus the network-dependent sanity suite; none involve this change.
  • Public repo: needs CAB approval before merging to master.

…-29683)

The SDK serializes request bodies with a default Gson converter, which drops
null values, so "field": null never reached the CMA and a field such as a
Number on a localized entry could not be cleared.

Add Contentstack.Builder.setSerializeNulls(boolean), off by default so
existing behavior is unchanged. When enabled, explicit nulls are sent for
every request made through the client.

Bump version to 1.15.0 and add a changelog entry.
