Summary

Corrects the three Falcon AI external-MCP connector pages so they match current product behavior:

  • The UI keeps at least one tool allowed; the last allowed tool cannot be disabled.
  • Every successful discovery (including one triggered by OAuth reauthentication) enables all returned tools, replacing any previous selection.
  • "Unknown tools" validation checks the stored discovery list, not the live server.
  • Test Connection persists neither verification state nor the tool inventory; error text prefers server detail over fixed fallback strings.
  • An existing tool list survives a failed refresh; a Connected chip is not proof of successful discovery.
  • Leaving Header Value / Bearer Token blank when editing keeps the stored secret.

Pages: concepts/mcp-connectors, guides/connect-mcp-server, guides/choose-connector-tools. Existing URLs unchanged.

Test plan

  • npm run build (Astro + Pagefind)
  • npm run audit-links — 0 broken navigation/content links
  • Three pages rendered at desktop and mobile widths
  • Behavioral claims traced to current product source

- Last allowed tool cannot be disabled (F1)
- Successful rediscovery resets permissions to all returned tools (F2)
- Unknown tool names validated against saved discovery list (F3)
- Test Connection neither persists verification nor discovers tools (F4)
- Blank credential on edit preserves stored secret (F5)

Self-approved by Rick under 2026-10-02 autonomy instruction (Nikhil).

- Keep one discovery-reset Warning on the page; OAuth section now links instead of repeating it
- Drop the repeated reset clause in the edit/re-run paragraph
- Note that the OAuth callback window shows errors only briefly before closing
