The change publishes new documentation pages and stops an old URL from forwarding. Watch new-page loads, sibling-page loads, not-found counts, and path errors. An issue becomes serious when new pages stay unused or those not-found counts and errors rise.

Plan

What changed

Requests to /product/explore/ now show the Explore guide. The site no longer forwards that URL to Trace Explorer. New pages exist at /product/explore/dropped-data/ and at the Logs and Metrics searchable-properties lists. Related product pages now link to the Explore guide.

sentry-docs must deploy before these URLs are live. develop-docs must deploy before two wording edits are live. Vercel Production environments named sentry-docs and develop-docs select those catalog ids.

Risk

If page generation fails, readers hit not-found pages for the new URLs. Removing the forward means old /product/explore/ bookmarks no longer open Trace Explorer. Broken links on updated product pages send readers to missing routes. Reach is public documentation readers on those product and search pages.

Intended effect

New pages appear as docs.page.load samples with the new paths. absent looks like those path counts stay at zero while sibling product pages still load. These paths had no samples before deploy. That zero is the baseline.

Regression watch

This diff can 404 the new routes or break links on sibling product pages. Pageload spans use /:path*? and cannot name a page. Use the path attribute on docs.page.load and docs.page.not_found. A drop on Trace Explorer with a rise on /product/explore/ is expected. A drop on sibling pages with no rise on the new paths is not.
