Closing: gateway-vscode declares engines.vscode as ^1.106.1 and pins @types/vscode to ^1.106.1 so the compile-time API surface matches the minimum runtime. Bumping the types to 1.140.0 would let code compile against APIs that do not exist on 1.106.1, which is a real compatibility risk for users on older builds. If the minimum VS Code version is raised, engines and types should move together in one deliberate change. |
