Designer by training, front-end developer by choice. I care deeply about good design and even more about the code that does it justice.
My first lines of HTML and CSS went into my Myspace profile in 2007. A design degree from MICA and a few years as a web designer followed, but the build side kept drawing me in. These days I’m a web developer at Think It First, building custom WordPress sites for clients across industries. I’ve also been running my small business, Pinultimate, since 2018.
Having lived on both sides of the handoff, I work in the space between them. Designers hand me a file; I see the vision and hand back something that honors it. I QA my own work with a designer's eye, so the first version presented is already the right one.
My toolkit: WordPress, Shopify, PHP, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap, with Claude as my go-to collaborator for the heavier lifting.
Recent favorite: A Nation of Artists, the exhibition site for a 250th-anniversary collaboration between the Philadelphia Museum of Art and PAFA.
Appreciate my code? Say thanks with a coffee:
