Android APKs distributed outside Google Play currently have no in-app update flow. Add
directandplaydistribution flavors: the direct build offers GitHub updates in Settings → About, while Play builds leave updates to Google Play and exclude the updater dependency, installation permission, activity, and file provider.The direct updater reuses release discovery and SHA-256 verification, validates the APK's package, release version, and increasing version code, and opens Android's permission screen and package installer only after the user chooses to install. It supports automatic checks, progress, retries, and activity recreation. The GitHub release workflow now builds
