Please maintain a Flatpak version #357
Description
Activity
Yeah this program is awesome on Mint but it almost crashed my Ubuntu LTS trying to create a new webapp. We need a flatpak or appimage.
edit: using a webapp manager is can be unnecessary in many cases because of Firefox's multiaccount container feature.
you could check this app here https://codeberg.org/eyekay/webapps or go here http://packages.linuxmint.com/pool/main/w/webapp-manager/
I agree.. I used it on my ubuntu 22.04 and it worked great.. I don't remember the version I used there tho.. but I installed the 1.4.0 .deb on my new 24.04 and it is a mess.. crashes all the time and it is very hard to add and manage the apps I installed.. I even updated to the 1.4.5 released in December and still sucks.. Having it delivered as flatpak or appimage would be sensational!

This app uses an internal browser, instead of allowing to choose a better browser. Using Gnome Web (Epiphany) would be a better choice than this imo and all other such apps...
Mint's WebApp Manager is different since it allows you to pick the browser of your choice.Reacted by gui-boI have created an app image file for this, if that help:

So that other Linux distro users can benefit from this amazing utility.
