Request PID 5AFE for skyBlip - #1282

@fcatuhe can you link suitable hardware from within the linked projects? I don't see any super clear links. Maybe an additional image could help me understand exactly what this is intended to be used on. Ping me in-thread once added. |

Hi @cnlohr, thanks for looking into my request. The firmware runs on off-the-shelf LoRa boards, the same class of hardware Meshtastic runs on. The supported board today is the LilyGO T-Echo Plus (nRF52840 + SX1262 + L76K GNSS + e-paper) and I added some characteristics and image in the PR description above. Section added to the project README too: https://github.com/fcatuhe/skyblip#the-hardware. The PID is the USB CDC ACM interface it presents on the board's USB-C port. Hope this is what you needed, have a nice day, François |

Open source, zephyr, GPL-3.0, built on commercially available T-Echo / SkyBlip devices. Looks in order.
skyBlip is open-source electronic conspicuity firmware for general aviation:
it implements EASA's ADS-L 4 SRD-860 on off-the-shelf LoRa boards, so a glider
or a microlight can be seen by other traffic without a certified transponder.
The PID identifies the USB CDC ACM interface the running firmware presents,
which carries its configuration console and NMEA traffic output to a host.
The firmware is GPL-3.0-only (firmware/LICENSE; the rest of the repository is
MIT). Sources, including the full Zephyr application and the host test suite,
are at https://github.com/fcatuhe/skyblip/tree/main/firmware.
Adds org/skyblip and 1209/5AFE.
Sample of devices on which the firmware is installed:
