What

Fix JSON response detection in sync and async clients.

Why

Valid Application/JSON responses currently raise errors. HTTP media types are case-insensitive.

Implementation

Compare the media type exactly after removing parameters and normalizing case.
Add regressions for casing, parameters, wrong types, and API errors.
