A card that appeared while you typed in another app took focus, so your next keystrokes went into it and a digit could pick an option Claude then acted on.

  • Card shows without activating; first click on an option answers (acceptsFirstMouse)
  • Clicking the card activates it for 1–4 / arrows / return / esc, clearing the auto-focused text box so digits pick instead of being typed; clicking the text box types
  • Placeholder drawn by the card (the system one is near-invisible while inactive)
  • README key instructions; version 0.1.4. hooks/register.js unchanged.

Verified: front app unchanged while a card is up and after it closes; synthetic click on option 1 → First; by hand: click card + 2 → "Option two", text box → "2 apples". validate --strict passes. claude plugin test can't run right now: Anthropic has turned installed mods off remotely ("hooks modules are turned off in this process: the rollout switch served off").

A card appearing while you typed in another app took focus, so your next
keystrokes landed in the card and a digit picked an option. Now the card
appears without activating; one click on an option answers; clicking the
card activates it for 1-4/arrows/return/esc (without auto-focusing the
text box, so digits pick instead of being typed); clicking the text box
types. Placeholder drawn by the card so it stays readable when inactive.
Verified by hand: click+2 picked option two; text box took "2 apples".
