I'm trying to review #179 later today or tomorrow, so hoping to get this feature into the release still. If I don't manage, we can release without COS and do a followup later. |

This PR isn't merge-ready yet, sorry! (I keep forgetting there's draft PRs). I'm just using it so I can add the features from upcoming 3.55.0 and that they're visible 😄 |
