Developers need to distinguish merchant accounts from users and know which account and role to use for API requests. This adds an Account section covering account selection, member management, and system roles, with cURL and all seven server SDK examples.
The role guide explains how permissions interact with OAuth scopes, how to assign a system role, and the current API limitations for Admin and Owner. Custom-role creation and the permission reference are reserved for the stacked follow-up.
