A referral prints a state's name (
Massachusetts) or a provider's name; the record stores the code (MA, a user id). The round trip compared the stored code with the document's text, so a mapped field could never be round-tripped. A misread provider was saved and verified. The round trip now applies the field's declared value map (
{param: state_label, map: {Massachusetts: MA}},bound_maps) to the document's value before comparing. A document value the map doesn't name can't be compared, so it'snot_checked, not held.Tests:
test_provenance.py::test_round_trip_maps_a_label_to_the_stored_code(MA held, RI refuted).Draft until the live OpenEMR Phase 0 run.
